Things here in this world of music are moving right along with lots of exciting things happening.  I was recently part of the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in Kentucky, am now taking a little time to write in Wisconsin, and head to Colorado next week for some great shows (I've listed them below......for detailed info, please see the "Tour" section of my website).  After this trip west, I'll head out to the mid-west in July and then the UK in August.  YES!

I have one last show of my Pacific Northwest tour before heading home to Austin and here's what's exciting about that:
Danny Schmidt is releasing "Instead the Forest Rose to Sing" on Red House Records.  And, I'm lucky enough to be opening his Texas release party shows.  I also get to sing with him during his performance, which makes me very very happy.  Danny's new record is beautiful (and I'm not just saying that cause I'm sweet on him....I'm saying it because it truly is one of the best records I've heard in a very long time).  So please be part of this celebration with us! Lot’s of fun stuff happening right now.  First off, supporting Greg Brown was such a special night for me.  He even took the time to listen to my set and sit with me after the show for some one-on-one time.

I’m now preparing for the big International Folk Alliance Festival.  Will be touring with Aimee Bobruk (http://www.aimeebobruk.com) on the way up to the festival….have shows in Houston, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.  I’ll then be in Memphis for five days before heading to Knoxville and Nashville for a couple days.  Will then fly from Nashville to Portland and spend a week back out on the west coast.  YES!  OH, and I'm playing a VERY SPECIAL Valentines Day show with Sam Baker (http://www.sambakermusic.com)
