Hi y'all...
We're here in Glenwood City, WI where the snow is about to fall.  We played the most beautiful barn concert last night.  It was pouring rain on the tin roof and everyone was bundled up in blankets, drinking hot beverages and snuggling up in their chairs.  It was such a romantic scene.  The only car that got stuck in the mud is ours, so we plan to spend the morning getting filthy dirty.  We have the night off and are so lucky to be in this inspirational space.
Tomorrow we're back to Cedar Rapids, IA and then back to Wisconsin and Minnesota before making our way to Michigan and Illinois.  
The tour has been great fun so far despite the winter weather conditions and all the flooding.  It's what keeps things exciting.  And fresh.

YES!

Danny and I are winding down our five week Europe/UK tour and I'm extremely excited to announce I'll be staying an extra week to join up with the fabulous Sam Baker!  YES YES YES!  Will be playing six shows with Sam.  Mostly singing with him, but also opening a few, as well.  Quite excited about all these gigs.  Please check out my tour page for all the details!

We're oh so excited to be headed to the Netherlands, Germany, England, Scotland and Wales for five full weeks!  Please check out the "TOUR" section of the website to find all the tour dates.  
 
We've had an amazing summer playing lots of festivals and having a chance to tour with my full band.  I love them and absolutely loved the festivals.  Thanks to all the folks in Canada that took stellar care of us.  Also, the Fayetteville Roots Festival blew us away this year.  A highly recommended festival with all organic food and deep rooted music.  John Prine was our favorite headliner of the summer....if you haven't seen him, please do yourself a favor and get to a show. 
 
Thanks to all that were able to make it to our shows in the mid-west this year including Storyhill Festival in northern Minnesota.  Yet another home grown sweet folk family festival that we love.  
 
Following this European stint, I'll be home for the Rice Festival in Fischer, TX and then headed to Canada for a two week Home Routes tour.

Just getting ready to hit the road and will be gone until the end of October!  Holy mackerel!!  The most exciting part is that I'll be touring with Danny Schmidt the whole time.  We'll be traveling all over the world together.  Red House is getting ready to release our new "digital 45", too.  It includes two songs, one of mine, one of Danny's.  The singles will be released to itunes real soon, so we'll let you know.
 
Take a look at my tour page to see where we'll be.  In short, we head to the pacific northwest, spend three weeks in Canada for a few festivals, head to California, Colorado, Arkansas, the mid-west, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, and then home to Texas for a couple Dallas area shows in late October.  Whoah!
