This just in! I received a copy of the incredible Texas Music Magazine and was chosen as one of their top ten artists of 2011!  The article is called "2011 Year in Review.....we celebrate artists whose noteworthy accomplishments helped shape the year in Texas music - and whose talents forecast a bright future."  
 
Am now preparing to hit the road for a month with mister Danny Schmidt.  First stop Florida.

In other news,  I'm incredibly excited to announce The Americana Music Agency as the newest addition to my amazing team.  The newest addition to my music family. Thank you John and Lucy for making me a part of your booking agency.  This is going to be great fun!

Just had the most amazing SXSW!  It turns out I was an editors pick in the SXSW edition of the Austin Chronicle, which is kinda cool.  The whole folk family was in town staying with Danny and I.  I loved it.  I'll take this opportunity to introduce you to the folks that stayed with us.  I highly recommend you check them out, because they're some of the finest singer/songwriters around these days:
AJ Roach, Robby Hecht, Storyhill, Chuck e Costa (of Mon Monarch), and Anthony DaCosta.

FUN NEWS!  "Jesse Likes Birds", the first track off of "Call it My Garden" can be found at the very top of the Folk DJ list for the month of January!  I'm incredibly thankful for all the DJ's spinning the record. 
 
I've also been featured in Maverick Magazine with a three page story and a five star album review!
